January Meeting - COOKIES COOKIES COOKIES

It's almost Cookie time for the Girl Scouts!  Mrs. Kay went through some important information about selling Girl Scouts by having the girls watch a show about safety and talking through the do's and don'ts of selling door to door.


The girls got to taste several types of cookies and talk about their favorite kind.

They also played games to practice their selling skills. 

We also welcomed another new Daisy!  Welcome Elise to our troop.  We are now up to 9 girl scouts in Troop #1349! 

December Meeting - Christmas Crafts and FUN

At our December meeting, 
we had a great time by making a few crafts,
playing some games and eating yummy snacks. 

We also welcomed our newest Daisy - Caroline!

November Daisy Meeting - Sunny Petal

At our November Meeting, we talked about
Sunny the Sunflower -
 Responsible for what I say and do.  
At this meeting we made sunflowers out of coffee filters
and pipe cleaners and made hand prints
with things we can do around the house. 

Juliette Low Birthday Party - October 28 2014

Juliette Low Birthday Party was a success!  

Our Daisy Troop performed our "I'm a Little Daisy" song with our fellow Daisy Troop to the rest of the Girl Scout Troops.  

They did a great job.  

We also handed/received swaps!  

The girls got to show off their dancing skills as 

well with a all troop Jazzercise routine!  






 

Our first Daisy Meeting - October 2014

Welcome Daisies!  

We had our very first Daisy Girl Scout Meeting on October 1st, 2014.  Our goal of the meeting was to earn our very first badge - Lupe Pedal.

It was a great success!  

We worked on our name tags and getting the girls used to how the meetings will flow.

Each Daisy was introduced to the Kaper Chart and assigned a task for the meeting.  

Thank you Kay for making a great Kaper Chart!

We had the pleasure of Lauren's big sister Rachel to help us read the Lupe Story!  

This meeting involved putting together our Swap's for the Juliette Low Birthday Party.
We practiced the Daisy song and our Girl Scout Pledge.

We ended the meeting with the Friendship circle.  

Looking forward to many more meetings with this great group of girls!!!

Welcome to Troop #1349

Welcome parents to the Daisy Troop #1349 Blog.  I wanted to create this blog so you had a place to keep up with events and meetings that you may not be able to attend with your daughters.  You can also share this blog with them so they can see how they have progressed through the year as Daisies.

About me:  My family moved to St. Louis not quite two years ago from Columbia, MO.  My husband Joe job transferred here.  My girls, Gabby and Lilly are 5 but turn 6 in September.  We really love St. Louis and especially have enjoyed their time thus far at Barretts!!

This blog will feature pictures of our meetings, parties, field trips and reminder information on upcoming meetings and important dates.

Please feel free to contact me anytime with questions you may have during this next year.  I am new to this Girl Scout Journey so I hope I can make it a great year for all the girls.
